  • Burke began her broadcasting career in 1990 as a radio analyst for her alma mater’s women’s games. In the same year, she began working in the same role on television for Big East Women’s games, and in 1996, she began working for Big East Men’s games. Doris has been working for ESPN in some capacity since 1991.
  • She has contributed to ESPN’s coverage of the WNBA. Similarly, for many years, she was the primary radio and television voice of the New York Liberty.
